Frequently Asked Questions

What are diamond certificates?

Diamond certificates, also known as grading reports, are issued by independent gemological laboratories and provide an expert assessment of a diamond's quality. The most trusted and widely recognized certifying bodies include:

  • GIA (Gemological Institute of America): Known for setting the global standard in diamond grading. Highly respected for its consistency and integrity.
  • IGI (International Gemological Institute): Offers reliable grading and is often preferred for lab-grown diamonds.
  • HRD (Hoge Raad voor Diamant): Based in Antwerp, HRD is respected European lab with strong grading standards.

While many labs exist, we only feature diamonds certify by these highly trusted institutions to ensure authenticity and transparency. Each certificate includes detailed information about the diamond's cut, color, clarity, and carat weight - commonly known as the 4Cs.

How do I know if the diamond is authentic and matches its certificate?

We only offer diamonds that have been certified by leading gemological labs, but you can also verify authenticity in two key ways:

  1. Inclusion matching: Each diamond certificate typically includes a unique inclusion map, like a fingerprint. Use this map to compare the internal feature (inclusions) of your diamond under magnification.
  2. Girdle serial number: Many certified diamonds have a laser-inscribed serial number on their girdle (the edge). You can match this number to the one on the certificate. Keep in mind, not all diamonds have this inscription as it's more common in higher-value stones.

If you need help verifying your diamond, we're happy to guide you through the process.

What is the return and exchange policy?

We offer a 14-day return or exchange window for all loose diamonds. You will receive a full refund or exchange, provided the stone is returned in its original condition with the certificate.

Please note that custom-made ring settings are non-refundable, as they are made specifically to fit your selected diamond. If you have any concerns about your order, we are always available to help make the process smooth and worry-free.

Is my purchase insured during shipping?

Yes. All orders are fully insured during transit, from the moment they leave us to when they arrive at your door.

We use trusted, secure shipping partners like Malca Amit, FedEx and UPS. We also require a signature upon delivery to ensure your diamond reaches you safely. In the rare event of loss or damage during shipping, you're completely covered at no additional cost to you.

Your peace of mind is just as important as the diamond itself.
